Historical research often involves multiple individuals, evolving questions, and records that require careful analysis. For that reason, I work on a structured hourly basis rather than fixed packages.

Research Engagement Options

🔹 Prepaid Research Blocks ($50/hr)

Research is conducted in prepaid blocks of time:

• 3-hour research block

• 5-hour research block

These blocks allow for focused work on your research question, including locating, reviewing, and interpreting records.

🔹 Ongoing Research (Retainer Option/ Email for more information)

For projects involving multiple individuals or extended-family research, I offer ongoing support on a monthly basis.

This option is ideal for:

• multi-generational family research

• complex or expanding projects

• continued document analysis and interpretation

What’s Included

Each research engagement may include:

• Review of relevant historical records

• Identification of military or pension files

• Analysis and interpretation of findings

• Copies or images of documents (when available)

• A written summary of results
